Fitness for me is daily therapy. It goes beyond short-term challenges, New Year resolutions and bikini season! It’s an integral part of my life that has truly transformed me from the outside in. Many people have been duped into fads, gimmicks or tricks looking for a quick fix. Our cultural expectation for instant gratification and immediate results with little or no effort has been preyed upon by the industry as a whole. There is no quick fix or magic diet. Period. You actually do have to put in effort and make better health based decisions. What you put in is what you’ll get out.
Do I need to join a gym to follow any of the programs?
No. Unless you sign up for one on one coaching, in that case you’ll choose the type of program you want- home or gym.
All the workout videos, my tips, meal guides and recipes are online, so you’ll just need your mobile, laptop or tablet with an internet connection.
What do I get when I sign up with any of the programs?
As soon as you sign up you get access to the exclusive member zone, so you are able to train with me immediately! Start the program when you are ready, after which you will have life time access.
You’ll be able to view your workout plan and videos, your weekly meal guide, shopping list guide and recipes online.
Once enrolled, you’ll get access to my private Facebook group where we can connect, and I can answer questions on your progress. Stay motivated and connected with the rest of the crew, and let’s work together to crush your fitness goals!
What fitness level do I need to be to sign up?
I’ve designed the 6 weeks ‘Let’s get started’ program with all fitness levels in mind. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced you can sign up.
How much is the 6 weeks ‘Let’s get started’ program?
The 6 weeks program costs $45. It’s a one-time cost and there are no on-going contracts or additional fees.
How many days will I need to exercise on the 6 weeks plan?
You will be training 5 days per week with rest days on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s, some days will be easier than others, with active rest days included as well (I recommend that you move daily, even if it’s a brisk walk. This creates a habit of movement). This is a guide we set for optimal results and recommend that you allocate around 1 hour per day for exercise.
We are aware that this may be more than what you are used to or it may mean juggling a busy schedule so we encourage you just to do the best that you can. It’s about keeping active and making exercise a sustainable part of your everyday life for the long term.
Can I sign-up if I have medical condition, concern or injury?
Your safety is our first concern, and part of our enrolment process is that you seek advice from your health care professional before embarking on an exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing injuries or conditions. They will give you a recommendation as to which exercises to avoid and which ones you can perform safely.
Are your programs primarily for weight-loss?
MKK Wellness is all about creating a sustainable and healthy relationship with food and exercise.
When you enrol you simply choose the level of daily calorie allowance that will enable your body to maintain its weight or drop weight if that’s your goal. If you don’t want to lose weight, your Meal guide will have a higher daily calorie allowance, to ensure you don’t.
Do I need to join a gym or have equipment for the 6 weeks plan?
No! I’ve created the workouts to be performed with body weight.
Am I allowed to drink alcohol?
When it comes to alcohol, we’d love for you to try and limit your alcoholic drinks to two standard drinks per week. Alcohol can weaken your resolve, and it also contains calories, so try to savour and enjoy those two drinks!
What if I have an event and can’t follow the plan?
All plans are designed to be sustainable and fit in with your lifestyle, and going out for dinner, celebrations and other events are a part of life. Stay mindful about your portions and make good choices most of the time, a night out is not going to sabotage your good work, so don’t feel guilty – enjoy your night!
Can I get a refund on any of the programs?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on any of the programs as they are online, and you gain immediate access.
